I had to have body work done to the left rear of the car get involved replacing the taillight. I just took my car home today and noticed this. I do not remember it looking like this, the other side does not have any cut outs. What does the inside of your trunk look like on the left corner by the tail light? This is a 2010
I have a 2010 too and I've replaced the bulbs in both of my taillights. The trunk covering folds down, I would go back and have them replace that side.
I have a 2009 SV Sport and have the same 5 cutouts on the left side. I have never had any repair work done on the left side or bulb changes. I believe the car came that way from the factory as the cutouts are very well made. What they are supposed to be used for, I don't know.

Not sure I understand what you're talking about with the trunk covering. Is there something not right in this pic?
I am no the cut outs were there. What I'm trying to figure out what is I don't remember seeing straight through to the taillight assembly, is there something between the liner and the assembly of the cars back there?
zman, I was relying on my bad memory when I answered your question. I went out and checked my trunk and yes I too have those same cutouts in my trunk. I don't have a clue as to what they're for, they're definitely not for replacing the tail light bulbs as the liner is held in by several plastic push pins. Sorry for the confusion.
