A/C Compressor/Clutch- No cold Air
A/C Compressor/Clutch- No cold Air
My A/C was blowing cold and hard like it always has. While driving down the road it starts blowing hot air.
I have pressure in the lines but the compressor is not coming on.
Can it be the Clutch and not the compressor?

Yes, it can be all the above. You didn't mention how much pressure you have in the lines. It is possible too that you don't have enough, a fuse blew, or the AC button was not pushed (yep, I had a buddy who swore his AC was broken only to find out his bride had turned it off the night before!)

I took it to a shop today and was told that it was the compressor. My father is a mechanic and he is more convinced that it is the clutch.
