does Nissan Canada Platinum warranty cover Side Mirror LED flasher?

I all

I have a 2013 with the Platinum warranty with a non working side mirror flasher. My dealer said that it is not covered by this extended warranty.

Before writing to Nissan Canada, I want to know if someone here had this repaired under platinum warranty ?

Doesn't your warranty specifically spell out what is covered and what is not.

I don't have a detailed booklet but on the Nissan WEB SITE : http://www.nissan.ca/en/owners/servi...ase-chart.html

Under Electricals
Flashers - Hazard and Turn Signal

If what is on Nissan's web site mirrors what your purchased then the repair should be covered. Did you purchase the car new and then purchase the extended warranty? What reason did the dealership give to deny the claim?

No, I bought it used in 2015 and added the extended warranty. The dealer just said that this is not covered

Call the customer service for the warrantee, if it's Nissan, call Nissan customer care. I know with Kia they have a preferred customer care, for Cadenza and K900 owners. I've called them a couple times when I got the runaround from a dealership that they "couldn't duplicate" issues. Customer care took the reigns and put the pressure on the dealership to solve the problem quickly. It wasn't that I wanted to step on toes, I just hate bringing in a car multiple times asking them to find then fix a problem I already know exists. I'm not a soccer mom, when I identify a problem, you can rest assured it's there, even without dealer duplication.
