If you want both bulbs to look alike then get two of them at the dealership (would be OEM) as you requested. If you are replacing a burnt out bulb it is best to replace both as the functioning one will burn out shortly.

a dealer is my last resort...i just know parts at dealerships are ridiculously priced and i hate dealers cause they try to screw people...this is why i'm looking to find out what the OEM bulb is so i can buy it elsewhere...i'm of the line of thinking that if it ain't broke don't fix it...so i may buy 2 bulbs but only install 1 and when the other goes i'll have one ready

Another reason to change both is if you change only one and even get an OEM bulb, who is to say the replacement bulb would be exactly the same color temp. If you are inclined to buy only one bulb then call the dealership and find out what manufacturer they use.

The OSRAM are the OEM....if that helps. But really, if you are under the car, go ahead and do both...they have the same number of hours on both! I replaced my with SilverStar Fog Light Mini Bulbs from Autozone. P/N H11ST-2
