Hi. I just bought an 09 Maxima and cannot find a rear tow hook to attach a ricer mod of tow hook extention.
Also i opened the little square in front bumper to relocate my front license plate into the front tow hook, but it is blocked by some plastic panel.
pls help! I'm having the car as a project and this is really frustrating.

Nissan decided to eliminate the tow hook during the 09 model year. The tow hook storage location is next to the jack in the trunk. There is an indent in the Styrofoam shaped like a hook. My 09 has the threaded hole in the frame but I never did have the hook. Nissan instead of developing a new mold for the front bumper to eliminate the square access hole decided to use the same front bumper all the way through the 14 model year. To expensive I suppose.
