Wheel Adapters for 09?
Wheel Adapters for 09?
Hi
i have a 09 with stock tires setup ie 245 45 r18.
i researched a lot and decided to go for hub centric wheel adapters rather than generic wheel spacers.
how much mm size should i go for such that i have no rubbing and it'll be good for Canadian winters. (-10 degrees celcius to -35 degrees celcius)
i am confused between 25mm and 30mm.
I'm planning to have wider adapters in the back because of the beefy fenders.
PS this is a daily driven not just for car shows.
Thanks

Bring this back to life... I too have a similar question(s) about adapters.
I got a good deal on some Rohana's but they are 5x120. Local shops around my area are charging $100+ per rim to re-drill. Any suggestions would help.

You can buy an adapter that goes from 5x120 to 5x114 but you'll also need a hub centric ring that goes 66.2mm to w/e the bore of the adapter is. Otherwise you may feel vibrations while driving at higher speeds.
