I've noticed I'm not alone with this issue of the diractional signal lights on the outside mirrors not working or working but very dim I've noticed it on other maxima and I was curious as to what is causing this is their any fix for it.

 

It is the led strip. It can crack the PCB and cause it not to work. You can either order the whole mirror assy or order the led strip PN 26443ZX50A for the drivers side. Easy fix, but removing the glass can be "scary" the first time. (note that PN is for an ALTIMA but it works. I don't know why they don't show it on the Maxima IPB.
