Headlight Difference Help

I have a 2010 Maxima SV and the driver headlight lens is broken courtesy of Walmart parking lot. I need to order a new assembly but the question I have is there a difference in the assembly between Xenon and Halogen? I know the bulbs are different and Xenon uses a ballast but are the headlight assembly’s the same or do I need to order a headlight for Xenon which I currently have? Thanks in advance I have no way of comparing the 2 unless I had 1 of each

Keep an eye out for one on Ebay. I recently snagged a RH OEM one for mine....they pop up from time to time there....it was a pretty good deal at $435.

Has anyone bought an aftermarket set of headlights and attempted to swap them on the OEM assemblies? I have a lot of sun damage that won't sand + buff out well, so was considering this route. I will not give up on the factory HIDs but would love to cannibalize the lenses by baking the lights apart and swapping.
