Squealing/ grinding noise when making turn

My car makes a squealing/grinding noise only when I'm making a hard turn. If I make a turn where I don't turn the wheel all the way, it don't make a noise. In guessing the power steering pump. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

First thing to do would be check power steering fluid level. if it is low it will make that happen. if you fill it up and it still does it probably starting to fail.

I just checked the fluid. It was over filled. It's cold and the fluid level is over the hot max line. So I took some out to get it to the max cold line. Problem still exists

Did you recently do work to you steering system? If so it's possible you got air in the system or your pump is on it's way out! I would get that checked much sooner than later, Or steering is going to be a job in its self!

I think you're on to something. I saw the reservoir bubbling the other day. I guess that means air is in the system? I had my alternator done in January
