What does Nissan Call this color trim Metallic ink or Piano??? I Changed my trim out from the Cherry wood to the color seen below and still need to find the door handle trim pieces. I went to local nissan dealer but they couldnt tell me which one was which. I even brought a donor VIN that had this interior but when they enter the VIN they still have the option for Metallic Ink, Piano, or Cherry wood. If anyone knows the color can you please help... bonus if you have them and can pop them off and give me the part number!!!

 

I'm inclined to say this is a metallic ink. Piano on a trim is usually associated with high gloss black-- i.e. piano black. Have you done a Google search with each name to see what comes up?

 

Yeah I googled the hell out of it... aggravating that its a world secret.. I said **** on it and ordered the metallic ink ones and will see what comes in. Just annoying the dealer couldn't even tell me, or more than likely didn't want to mess with it since its a 2012 part he would have to search for.

 

Lol. That's probably the case. I do think you picked the metallic though. They are lazy to get the answers but hungry to get the money! I bit the bullet Saturday and bought an M550i (kept my Maxima) and the salesperson knew none of the features and fought me in some of the specs.
