Engine ground

I want to add a 1awg engine ground. Does it matter where I put it as long as it's on the engine and chassis? There's a bolt on top passenger side. I was thinking of going there. Any input would help. Thanks

Well, without knowing which bolt on the top of the passenger side you are talking about, sure! As long as it is metal to metal and no paint or corrosion, it should be fine with that big *** cable you are using!

Everyone has opinions on grounding points...chassis, fender, firewall. As long as they are all connected without a lot of rust/oxidization you should be fine.
