TPMS error
TPMS error
I have read forums that have so many different procedures to reset the TPMS;
1) A button under the steering wheel
2) Finding a white plug and sticking a paper clip in it
3) Disco the positive?
4) Turning it to the on position and holding down the button.
Never had an issue until my left rear tire was taken off to repair some road rash on the wheel. Now it reads 18 PSI, when I know there is 34 PSI.
How do I reset this or figure it out to make the triangle light and check tire pressures light off?
Replace the sensor, recore it, reset?

Well, the easiest way is with a Scan tool that supports TPMS resetting! But yeah, there is a white connector under the dash just to the left of the steering column that you can use in combination with setting specific pressures in every tire but none will help if you have a bad sensor. I would get them all replaced and be done with it. These are getting up in age, so do them all and be done with it for another 10 years or so.
