I thought I read somewhere that the higher output 7th gen alternator could be used on 5th gens but I can't seem to find the info. does anyone know the details on the swap?

I know the 4th gen ones that have a 125 amp option fit but was wondering about the 7th gen.

 

The 5th gen swaps require a bracket on the 7th gen blocks to use the 5th gen alternators on them. So I would say they aren't interchangeable.
