What Repairs Will Fix P0868?
  1. Change the transmission fluid and filter.
  2. Repair transmission fluid leaks.
  3. Repair or replace damaged wiring and sensors on the transmission wiring harness.
  4. Replace the transmission pump.
  5. Replace transmission fluid pressure sensor.
  6. Replace transmission fluid temperature sensor.
google….

Does anyone have the OEM part number for the internal transmission filter? I found one on RockAuto but I was looking for an OEM one. I talked to the local Nissan dealer, but they don't have anything in their catalog.

Rock auto one is garbage, just flush the oem screen with brake fluid. Its a screen but a finer mesh than the one on RA.

I agree but I have already swapped the one from RockAuto into the transmission and pitched the OEM one. I have seen the error in my ways and am trying to correct it and was looking to put in a new OEM one. I can't find one anywhere online so I will go to the local junkyard and get one out of a 2013 Maxima there and clean it really good with brake cleaner.
