Climate control seat Issues. 7th Generation Maxima

My climate control seat would turn on and within a few secinds go back off. It has been in the shop 3 times now under warranty. Now this time around they want $1300 to replace the wiring harness. Only reason they want to do this is simply because they knew warranty woukdnt cover it and i would decline the fix. Now that they have worked on it, nothing lights up. See photos for what they replaced and what they stated for their findings. Please help. Thank you!

Well they did say they "de-pinned" the main body harness (not sure where) so that could account for nothing working now. They don't mention putting everything back together properly, which is why I suspect nothing is working now. Notice they say that replacing the seat harness won't necessarily fix everything, just that they have to do that before they troubleshoot further. Finding the fan full of debris isn't a good thing either. Did they operate it without the filter or have you not been replacing the seat filter? (not that it matters much now.) But it does look like you will need to do some investigative work finding where they were and what they touched to move this further than checking fuses. Wish I had better news.

I dont how debris got in there. Ive always kept the filter in place and cleaned it every 3 months. I asked them if they put it all back together the way it was when I brought it in and they said yes, but I wonder. The mechanic stated the TED unit was fine under the seat but did not check the one in the back of the seat. I asked why and he said he didn't see a need. Thank you for your input. I appreciate it.
