New member… multiple codes, need HELP

The traction control light on my 2012 came on and remained on, and put the car in limp mode. I’m getting a ton of codes…. P0101, C1130, U1000, P1722, P0868, P1701.
I’ve reset the computer using the gas pedal method and it runs fine for about a week and then the light comes back on. I feel like it’s an electrical issue. Has anyone else had this problem? Any help would be appreciated.

PO101 is MAF related with ECM.

C1130 is an ECM related issue

U1000 is a CAN communication issue.

PO1722 is a speed sensor issue

PO868 is a transmission issue

PO1701 is a transmission issue

You need to drag that car to a shop.

Lol I couldn’t drop it off today and it’s been running perfectly fine for about 2 days. I did talk to someone at the Nissan dealership and they recommended getting a new battery 1st. I know nissan is gonna charge an arm and a leg for anything they do. I did get a new battery, and everything seems to be running ok as of now. I have a feeling it wasn’t just the battery tho.

That would be sweet if it is just the battery. I wonder if some critters got in there in chewed up some of the wires. Fingers crossed your issue is easy to resolve.

Yea thats crossed my mind too. Also being 10 years old, wires and sensors are bound to be corroded. It’s my commuter car so I hope it’s nothing too serious. It saves me a lot of money on gas.

Well a new battery worked for a few days. The light just came back on today. I guess I will bring it to the dealership and let them check it out 🤬

Please let us know what they find. Hopefully it isn't something too crazy.

I haven’t been able to make it to the dealership. I work 45 minutes away so I reset the computer again. Ran fine until I got off the interstate today and the traction control/slip light came back on and once again went back in limp mode.
After being parked for an hour or so I cranked it up with no issues. I’m baffled.
I don’t think it’s transmission related bc it runs fine when the slip light isn’t on. I also had the stepper motor replaced about a year ago, along with a transmission flush.

This may very well be a CVT issue, is the Check engine light on? I would pull for codes see if anything is pending.

The only codes that come up when traction control light isn’t on are for MAF sensor, and vehicle speed sensor. That’s why I’m thinking electrical. I’ve changed the MAF sensor but still getting the code. When the slip light is on it feels like it’s not getting enough fuel.
the light went back off after restarting the car and is running fine again.

Replaced MAF sensor 3 times, finally using the OEM hitachi sensor. It’s driving fine, shifting properly, good gas mileage etc.
The service engine light came back on after 2 days but no slip light as of yet. Still running normal. I’m gonna run the codes again and see what I get.

Is a computer reset/reprogram necessary after Changing this sensor?

A few drive cycles should clear the sensor recognition…

After OEM was installed, it was still throwing MAF sensor code. That’s the only code that came up. As of today the slip/traction light came back on and is back in limp mode.
I’m going to clean the throttle body and reset the codes again and then go from there. If anyone can suggest something else, or idea what this issue is feel free to let me know.

After 2 months of eliminating one issue after another…. I finally found the culprit!!!
A ****ing split hose!! It fixed all problems and I’m getting 30+ mpg. It’s the Blowby gas hose and the part # is 11826-JA10B. Apparently this is very common on Nissans which I find unbelievable because it took me months to find info on this hidden hose. I hope this helps with anyone else experiencing similar issues. ITS NOT ALWAYS THE CVT!!!

This is the YouTube link I finally stumbled across after 2 months. It shows the location of the hose.

Did your car drive differently when these codes where shown? Earlier today my slip light came while accelerating from a stop uphill, almost felt like the CVT was slipping. Yesterday on on the highway it almost felt like it had a misfire when accelerating around 80mph. Right now it's showing P1722 and C1109. The CVT was replaced 2 years ago, the fluid looks good and it doesn't slip under full throttle. I'm stumped. Haven't looked at the hoses yet, but at 227k miles you got me thinking I might have a cracked hose too.
