19 in wheels help
I'm not to hopeful that I will actually get a response, it doesn't look like there is much activity recently, but here's to hoping luck will go my way for once.
I just bought a 2011 Nissan Maxima SV sport with the 19 inch wheels,, i was under the impression the only thing that was wrong with it was it needed new tires, so got new tires and had them put on just to be told that 2 of the rims are bad. I'm needing cheap rims and I have no idea where to look. Everywhere I look they are a bit out of my price range. So my question is, is there any rims from like other vehicles that I could use? Like a Toyota camry rim for example? Or any other? My tire sizes are 245/40r19. I just need advice, i don't know jack about cars/tires or how rims work and until today never even realized there were special measurements for lug nut placement.
Please no bashing. I just honestly need advice and thats it. I figured if anyone would know it'd be a forum specifically for maximas.

Your bolt pattern is 5x114.3, majoriy of 5 lug cars use that bolt pattern or 5x100. Otherwise, you need to make sure the offset of the rim will work and the width will work as well as that the center bore of the rim will fit your hub. If the wheels center bore is too big, tire shops cell hubcentric rings you use to fill the gap. If the center bore of the rim is too small for your hub, a machine shop has to bore them out and that's not really worth it usually.
From the below link, it looks like your factory size is 8Jx19 which is a 19" rim that is 8" wide with +50 offset and you need at least 66.1mm center bore and they recommend you stick with +48 to +52 offset. Offset is a bit tough to explain, but RWD cars usually have -20 to +45 offset and FWD cars usually are +30 to +50 range. You can Google offset image explanations for more information.
Wait for someone else to chime in, but for OEM wheels theres a thread on here where a guy ran 6th gen Maxima OEM rims but they stuck out a little bit past the fender. Off the top of my head I thinkInfiniti G35/G37 factory wheels will bolt straight up as well, there looks to be a trim that had 18x7.5 rims with +45 offset factory. Your other option is most tire shops will sell aftermarket generic wheels made by Core Racing or whatever brand they stock that look like below, they're not fancy but they're usually $80-$150ish per rim and people use them on daily drivers or for winter tires. You could just drop off the car there and they'll probably have a catalogue of what styles of rims they have in stock and it'll be on them to figure out the correct measurements. If you have access to someone with a Costco membership or you have one, i'm pretty sure they sell those rims as well and they'll probably be the cheapest for rims and tires. I usually get my tires from Costco and a set of 4 is $300-$600 cheaper than Canadian Tire or wherever else

Thank you for your response
Thank you so much for your response, it has been extremely helpful and has helped me understand a bit more.
I have found 2012 nissan maxima rims and the measurements on everything is the exact same from what I can tell but as soon as I enter in my vehicle info (2011) it says it won't fit my car. But the size, width, bolt pattern, etc is all the exact same. The only difference that I can find is that the 2012 rims are cheaper then the 2011.
If you wouldn't mind, would you check and see if they are the exact same fit, or if they are an option? I know its alot to ask, to have you do the research, but as far as I can tell it is the exact same fit and I just don't understand why it says it won't fit a 2011 maxima. But if you don't want to check into it and see if it'd fit, that's 100% fine and I would honestly completely understand. Again though, thank you for your response.

Hmm which website is saying they wont work? If all the measurements are the same they should theoretically work. some lower trim models will have smaller wheels and if you use them on a higher trim that has bigger brakes, a 15" rim of the lower trim possibly wont clear the brakes of some higher trim models with monster brakes but if they're both 19" it's odd the website is saying they wont work
Yeah as Richard said all 7th gen rims should be interchangeable, theres a chance the website said they aren't because if you go to a different wheel size your speedometer will be minimally off but they should bolt on just fine
You can also check your local Facebook Marketplace for a set of cheap rims, some even with decent tires as well. I found a set of 350Z wheels recently for a great price that I have on my car.
