Do I need a new transmission

Do I need a new transmission
So i just bought a used 2012 Maxima 3 months ago and it running good for the first month until i felt that the transmission was slipping the car has 144k miles and had one owner and was invloved in a light fender bender that broke the bumper according to the former owner and i bought it with 140k miles i was driving down the street and suddenly the car went to limp mode when I saw the code it said it was a step motor and low transmission fluid pressure so I changed the step motor and that fixed it for a while until I started getting a delay in acceleration and assumed it was the throttle body but it wasn't that so I also changed the valve body which could be the reason of low pressure so I changed it did the relearn process and it smooth for a while until it started getting a delay in acceleration so now I don't know how to fix the delay but I am starting to consider changing the transmission Can anyone on here help me fix the cause of the delay of acceleration?

Do you know when the cvt fluid was last changed? I would begin there if you don't have records for the last change.

yes I changed it around mid April but the owner took it to get it changed at the Nissan dealership in February so a month before i bought it he showed me the carfax and everything checked out he never took it to a different mechanic he always took it to get it regularly maintained I don't have the report on me which I regret now nor do I have screenshots but I do remember it being changed at around early 140k miles I bought it at 140500 miles around there so barely 500 miles in the fluid and then I changed it at 141k but when we pulled the pan out there was not that much metal build up that can suspect that something was completely wrong it just seemed like normal wear

Check your local pick n Pull for a decent used cvt. I spoke to the tech at Certified Transmission where I get my classic car worked on, they said they can service the cvt as well. That gives you another option outside of the dealership.

I don't know where you're located but I did a Pick n Pull search using the unlimited miles option and there are roughly 8 or more 2009 - 2014 Maxima's available that you could possibly get a used cvt from. I live near Kansas City and a used transmission costs about $250 - $300 dollars.

I think it might be the tcm according to my cousin because it may be an electronic problem within the transmission this is my last hope before I buy a transmission
