Back seat

What is the back seat room? Before the Maxima came out I was looking at a Fusion. The specs says the Maxima has 4 inches less rear legroom. If the spec on the two cars are equivalent then I may have a problem.

Here's a suggestion, go ahead and look at one, sit in it and see if it fits your needs. I have found that the numbers don't always give a true feel for what they are measuring. If it's that big of a deal breaker, go find something that suits what you need if the Maxima doesn't. I don't think you are going to find your answer here in a forum.

Who's driving? Who will be sitting in the back? I am a little shorter (5'6") so anyone sitting behind me while I am driving would have plenty of leg room. Passenger isn't driving so they can move forward a bit too for added leg room behind them. As mentioned above, don't really pay too much attention to the numbers.

I'm about 6'2" and I put the drivers seat in a comfortable position and then sat in the back. It was really tight and there really wasn't much room for my knees , the only way I could be comfortable in the back was to stick my knees out to the sides behind the seat. There is definitely less legroom in the back than the 7th Gen.

I actually found the 2016 Maxima more comfortable in the rear seats than my 2012. There was more foot room under the front seats compared to my 2012.

Thanks all. I wish I had time to look, but am getting ready to move. Sometime I will have to look at one.
