Hi Maxima Fans,

Just registered tonight, looking forward to interacting with all of you here. In short, haven't had a Maxima since I sold my 1992 SE back in late 90's. I have always liked the ~2000's Maxima but never bought one choosing instead to buy a 1999 Accord and 2006 MDX. I really enjoy the MDX and still have it. However, the 2016 Maxima has really impressed me with its styling and great interior. I have been blown away by the Midnight SR and am seriously thinking of an end of the year purchase. Looking also to add a few accessories like the accent lighting, kickplates and GEL. For those who have the SR, how do you like it and what are your experiences with it? Also, is there anyone from North Texas here who has dealt with Nissan dealers in the area and their experiences with any of them? Thanks for any help in advance!

Glad to have you here. I have an SR and have been very happy with it thus far. I've been driving it about a month now. Nice ride and nice interior. I have the color matched spoiler and ground lighting. I installed the rocker panels myself after I purchased the car. You can follow the link in my signature to see how it looks. The rocker panel picks are further down in the post. I think they add a nice accent to the car. If you get a Maxima, they are definitely worth installing in my opinion.

I live in the DFW area and purchased mine from Burleson Nissan. I had a very good experience with them. That wouldn't be too far of a drive from Hillsboro. If you end up going there, pm me and I can give you more info.
