Question "Sold Order" Process?

I am wanting (and have the time to wait) the exact 2016 Nissan Maxima Platinum with features the I have specified.

Evidently, to get this, I have to use the "Sold Order" process.

Has anyone else used this process with Nissan and would be willing to share their experience?

Thanks in advance.

If you have a relationship with the dealer they can handle that for you on the ordering end - talk to them and MAKE SURE YOU ORDER EVERYTHING YOU WANT - am sure they will work with you

Thanks. It appears to be a relatively new process for our local dealer. A deposit is required, documentation has to be complete within 48 hours of submission. The activity has a 120 day clock: they will try to find a vehicle matching the requirements in that time or everything restarts.

Ordering isn't as simple as one would hope. But I guess if it was, everyone would want to do it...

that sounds weird
you should be able to walk in and order whatever you want, clock start when you put the order in, shouldnt be more then 3 months until you get your car
