Correct Eibach part number?

I'm trying to order a set and just want to double check on the part #. Eibachs Web site gives a number and Amazon has it. Any one ordered a set yet and which part number? Thanks

tc8510 installed some. He mentions it at some point in this thread:

https://maxima.org/forums/8th-genera...w-2016-sv.html

Maybe you can message him and get the details.

63115.140 is the part number that eibach actually told me when I called and their website gives the same thing yet he confirmed it is also listed for the Altima. Apparently the 1 6 maxima and a previous Altima use the same thing. Ordered them from tire track for 230 with free shipping..

I had Eibach springs on my 4th generation Max. They rode real nice and you wouldn't know it was lowered, but as soon as you took a turn they were stiff and it drove like a go kart lol. My current Max seems low already so curious to see how these work out.

16 Max uses the 13- Altima springs , part#63115.140. nice kit. Installed last weekend, came with new bump stops and dust boots up front. Not sure how guys are using the springs off the 09-15 Max. Rear springs are now longer and front aren't progressive rate, just the rears. Rides good. I got 1.5 drop front 1.2 rear. no squatted look on rear like my 09' Max did with the Eibachs.

Per the recommendation of Stillen; I ordered the 7th gen maxima eibach 6392.140. Now I'm worried I'm going to have a squatting look and should have got the Altima springs.

Update: sent the 6392.140 back and purchased 63115.140. Installed over the weekend and couldn't be happier. Nice drop and the ride on my SR not only improved but feels just as comfortable as the stock SR springs. Best $250 you can spend on the car, IMO.

Hey Jaxmax,
Did you rear settle at all? Sorry to post on another old thread but just got mine installed & hoping these settle. I got like a little under an inch difference between the front & back after my alignment. Waiting to talk w/ Eibach but hoping to get some feeback from the forum before I do. Thanks!!

Super confusing info here. I'm wanting to lower and tighten up my 2018 SV but not sure if I'm supposed to get 63115.140 or 6392.140.

Yeah I feel you man. I just want to make sure I'm getting the right springs. I don't want that nose dive look.

Bump.

Do the rear settle or is it by design? Eibach states 1.4 all around for part number 63115.140. We need to hold Eibach responsible if they not giving us the right numbers. Looks like they are being lazy and didn't engineer specific springs for the 8th gen max.

The thing with the rears is you have the preload the suspension, before tightening everything back. You have the tighten everything with the weight of the car on the wheel, so all the bushings in the rear are kind of in a neutral position. Things most folk do, they install the rear springs and with the car on the jackstand and they tighten everything. Then the bushing gives resistance when you put the car back down, so the car ride high in the back.

The proper kit is the 63115.140, but there's something wrong with the front springs. They are not barrel shaped and gets coil bind before engaging fully in the bump stops, so when get in a slightly deep hole it'll feel like you hit the car with a sledgehammer. That's whats people are referring to when they say their front is bottoming out. That a metal on metal slam.

The front in the 6392.140 rides wonderfully smooth. The rears rides lower than front by about 1/2'. These rides way better thant the other set.

I run a mix of both, i run 6392.140 front and 63115.140 rears, My car is dead even and it rides really well, and is very comfy.

It'll use the same spring as the 2016-2019 suspension is unchanged.

That's a pic of my car with the 63115.140 springs wirth properly preloaded rear bushings.

This is a pic of my car with 6392.140 Front and 63115.140 rears, my current setup.

While we're at it, here's with car on RS-R for 7th gen.

Hope this helps

This is the look I want. You think eibach will sell the set mixed? This is perfect for me.

They won’t. I bought two set and sold the other sets of springs.
This setup rides so good I think it ride much smoother than the SR suspension.

Dam I just want enough low to cover some of the wheel gap. Why is this max so high from factory? It’s pretty high for a “sport” sedan.
