Since I got the new Max everyone I talk to over in the BT hands free phone option complain that it sounds like I am in a cave and cant hear me? I rarely had this issue with the 2012 or 2014 mostly it worked fine. is this common or do i have a bad Blue Tooth and need to have it replaced. I can hear them fine it may be a defective mic.?

 

I've had mixed reviews by people that say it sounds great to those who say it sounds noisy and distant. I think part of it has to do with the road surface I'm driving on. Concrete is noisier than most asphalt and affects sound/voice quality. I keep a BT headset in my car and use it most of the time.

 

I use the cars bluetooth system, I don't have a separate one I wear. Works great, everyone I've spoken to hears me clear as a bell.

 

I sometimes have that problem in my 2010 Maxima as well. What I've found though is that if my phones volume is turned up to say "7 - 10" people have a hard time hearing me. But with the volume turned down it's not a problem.

 

This Bluetooth is a lot better than my 2013 Lexus. Don't need to use a headset like I did in the Lexus
