Has anyone put the 3M or any other brand clear bra on their 8th Gen? If so, what did it cost?

 

I would not use 3M. According to the guy that installed my paint protection, they have been having issues with their product. My cost was $800. I had the entire front bumper, fog lights, headlights, mirrors, full hood, and front half of each front quarter panel done. The thread link below details what I had done:

It is worth getting. I already have some paint chip on my driver side fender

 

I think it's worth getting. The material is "self-healing" to a degree also. Supposedly if it gets a scratch, you can hit it with some heat and it will go away. It's holding up very well thus far. 5 year warranty from the manufacturer.

 

Yes - this is my 3rd Maxima to have it. i would expect to pay $500-700 for a quality install.

 

I had the Nano Fusion film applied to my front bumper, 24" of hood, side mirrors and fenders and am extremely pleased with it. You can't even tell that it is there. Comes with a lifetime warranty as well. Wouldn't try to install myself, especially with all the nooks and crannies on the front bumper. Paid $650.
