Door Edge Guards

Does anyone's maxima have door edge guards? A dealer I'm working with has a max in the specs I'm looking for, but mentioned that it has door edge guards on it.

I typically associate this with the long silver strip on the doors that looks out of place. Wanted to see if it's still like this on newer vehicles or if they have something much more subtle now.

You can pull the door edge guards off if you don't like them. They are just attached with a 3M type tape. Then you can use an adhesive remover if there is any residue. Or, if you get the car and don't want to do it yourself, have the dealer remove them before you take possession of the car.

Door guards are all different. Some are inconspicuous enough if they match the paint color. I personally don't like door edge guards. When I had my clear paint protection installed, they ran strips down the door edges for some protection. Of course that is clear, though.

We install clear 3M door edge guards at my store. I love them. Save you from ruining your paint if you accidentally ding something. Easy to remove if you do not want them.

What is your store? Diode Dynamics isn't your store, is it?

I work for a Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram dealer. We have vendors who do door edge guards, pin stripes, tinted windows, wheels and tires, paint repair and restoration, wheel repair and so on. Diode used my car as a test vehicle to develop and test LEDs.
