Few navigation questions

Just picked up a new platinum and loving it so far! Had a few questions related to the navigation system.

- When on the map screen is there a way to get to the shortcuts at the bottom of the window to change sections? The only thing I've found is to use the home button and then go down to shortcuts.

- Is there a way to see estimated time of arrival?

- For voice guidance do you have to really do each step one by one? Navigation....wait for prompt....address book....wait for prompt...name of destination.

Once you have programmed in a destination, I believe the ETA shows up on the screen.

I'll pitch another navigation question: Am I seeing traffic only because I have the Sirius XM trial? Will it go away in 6 months unless I renew?

My trial period was only THREE months.

I assumed the traffic info was from the SiriusXM traffic portion of the SiriusXM package. I have no use for the endless array of SiriusXM radio stations (seldom listen to radio), so subscribed only to the traffic/travel portion of the package. That gives me everything except the radio stations. I was able to get three years for $199. I will be using this quite a lot on trips. If I ever want to use the radio, I simply turn on the one already in the car. It allows for presets on 6 AM stations and 12 FM stations. There are also several other options for those who wish to listen to music while in the car. I simply keep a CD in the car for the rare occasions I might want music, and change it out every so often.

The traffic will go away once trial has expired.

I wondered about the ETA aspect as well. Mine was stuck on the length of the trip remaining.

Yeah from what I gathered in the manuals there is no option to see that.
