New Maxima Owner

Hello all!

I have been lurking here for some time, looking at posts and reading about your cars. After test driving a '16 Impala, Fusion, Malibu, Accord V6, and finally a Maxima (saved it for last). I decided to jump on a brand new S model after driving it around for the day. I really just fell in love with the clean lines of it. Also I did not want a Sunroof at all (which limited me more then I would have thought) and did really want Leather (Have Dog/Kids/like cloth).

I can safely say that none of those other cars at this price point could even touch the Max for Performance, Comfort, Style, Ride, and options. I even drove a Platinum Fusion and a top trim level Malibu. The Impala I test Drove had an Anemic 4 Cylinder Turbo, I was a boat anchor considering he other cars I drove... especially the Max.

Coming from a 1996 F-150 It's a tremendous car, silly fast, gadget laden, Looks amazing, comfortable, very happy with it so far.

Haven't seen that color in person ... on the Nissan website it looks a lot more blue than in your pix. Cool.

It's like a Greyish Blue...

It's a pretty unique color.

If I lived in a cooler climate (I'm in middle GA), I think the Storm Blue would have been my choice. But I gotta stick with lighter colors as long as I sit here in the Southern furnace. At least southern coastal towns have a breeze, but not here in the piedmont. But it usually cools down by Halloween.

I was disappointed by how dark the Storm Blue and the burgundy were in real life - too close to black. Ended up with the gunmetal which was my third choice.

I hear that. The gun metal was sexy too.. it was a tough choice. But MAN I love this car. I took it on a "Spirited Drive" through the Rockies today... I was as giddy as could be. It scaresly admitted that there was an incline as we rocket past everything going up lol.
