Yaayy!!! Got myself a new Maxima
Hi guys,
I just got myself a new Maxima. I had been a huge fan of the seventh generation; unfortunately, I was only 16 at the time.
I've just taken delivery of my gun metal Maxima recently. I haven't driven it much though. Looking forward to having some good times with her.

So you were able to buy a 2016 Maxima in Muscat? Just across the fairly narrow Gulf of Oman from Iran and Pakistan. Sometimes I think Nissan is taking over the world. I wouldn't be surprised if Nissan soon invades Iran with dealerships. Nissan is selling Datsuns again in some parts of the world. Did your dealer have any Datsuns? I actually have lots of Datsun T-shirts, and have one on right now. By the way, very beautiful Maxima you have there. Enjoy!
However, it must be noted that the dealer makes some changes to the models. For instance, the USB and AUX port have been shifted to the centre cubby storage. Also, the horn has been changed- it sounds like that of a bloody 1990's Corolla. Besides that, we also don't get the 'Entertainment (music) screen on the Driver assistance display and Speech recognition. I have no idea why.
Either way, Nissan don't sell the Datsun here. Although, they're selling like pancakes in India- the place of assembly. I drove a Datsun Go last year, but it isn't as great as the one's from the early days.

Oh, brother. Nissan is one of the top selling brands in Muscat, Oman. They have a massive showroom- seven to be exact, and sells close to 20 cars daily. The 2014 Maxima sold in scores here- meaning they're extremely common.

I changed my horn the first week though, it sounds embarrassing lol.
I am really pleased with my max though as its more like an SRtinium (a combination of the SR and platinum that you get in the states)
