Climate Control Problem

Anybody notice any problems with there climate control. Mine doesn't seem to be accurate. I got in the car today and put it down to 64 and it didn't change anything. IN my other cars it starts blowing like crazy. 72 has been a comfortable temp for me in all other cars. At 72 it is still too warm.

Thanks.

First - check to be sure it's on "Auto."

The only other thing I would ask you to check is to make sure that your recirc button is on as this will give max cooling for your reference.

You may have an issue with your car because we've noticed that this Maxima has an awesome AC system. It is on par with our most recent vehicle purchases, which are a 2016 Sierra Denali and the vehicle we traded in on the Maxima, a 2009 Buick Enclave. This 2017 Maxima gets just as cold as either of those.

Kind Regards,
Lou

Could be because the outside temp is lower or close to what you set it at. It happens to mine too.

That's what I was thinking but then though back to really hot days and I had I had to lower the temp below 70 to get it to kick on.

I feel like the climate control on my '17 seems to be off. On my last car ('11 Saab 9-3) I set it at 68F and pretty much never touched it. On the Maxima, I have to fuss with it all the time.

Yes, it's on auto. Just today, I was on a 5 hour drive home. With outside temperature at about 60F, and climate control set at 70F, there was never any warm air coming out of the vents.

A couple of weeks ago, I was on another long drive. I was comfortable for a couple hours, then all of the sudden the temperature dropped dramatically inside the vehicle.
