Installing a shock sensor to the factory alarm

Looking to install a shock sensor in our 2016 Maxima Platinum edition... That way I can use the original key fob and have a little more peace of mind if someone bumps my car, or tries to seal the rims and thus has to bang the lock nut...

I bought a Directed Electronics 504D Shock Sensor for $10 off Amazon. It has 4 wires, 3 of which I would be using. Ground wire, constant power wire and the trigger wire which sets the factory alarm off.

I need to know what the wiring diagram of the BCM is, does anybody have that info? Thanks!

I think this is a great mod, wish I knew you could add sensors to your factory alarm earlier...

Below is wiring info for your Maxima. Grab the pink wire (door trigger) at the BCM.

Your going to need a relay to turn off the sensor wend you driving if not the interior light will flash every time the sensor will trigger. I did this mod on all my nissans .

Thank you for chiming in! Even though I've hardwired dash cams/ installed radios and backup cams, my knowledge is very limited when it comes to this stuff. The relay just cuts the power to the shock sensor when the car is on? I also read about people getting relay+ diode for this install. Can you school me on this, I'd appreciate it!

What would be the exact relay needed? TY A36-SR!
