Sports mode
I know this might sound a bit wacky for some of you but I am not sure if the sports mode button works on my car.
So when I press the sports mode button, the sports mode screen appears on the speedometer with sports written as well. But apart from this, I must admit I have not really felt any difference in the performance.
So for those of you who know for certain it works on your cars, it would be great if you could point out the specific differences that I should feel/notice so that I can keep note the next time I try sports mode.
FYI I drive the 2016 Maxima SV.
Thanks in advance!

Steering wheel feel gets heavier vs normal lightweight steer with two fingers feel.
Throttle response goes up. Basically the car engine Rpms go up faster giving it just a little gas. Car simulates a manual sort of by holding rpms during heavier acceleration / relying more on engine braking vs normal. The downside is you lose a few mpg if you have a heavy foot. Upside is the car feels less like a daily driver and more like a fast sports car.

The all-new Maxima also features for the first time a Drive Mode Selector (Sport and Normal modes) that adjusts throttle response, transmission tuning, steering feel and Active Sound Enhancement tuning. In Sport mode, the engine throttle response increases, the Xtronic transmission programming changes for more aggressive shifting under braking and gear holding, the steering weight increases and the Active Sound Enhancement system further amplifies the engine note in the cabin.
