Just further evidence that Consumer Reports missed the boat on their evaluation of the 8th generation Maxima. But then most here who test drove any of the vehicles CR rated above the Maxima already knew this.

Funny, because Forbes rated the 2016 the sixth worst 1 year resale, losing over 34%...Worse then the Lincoln MKZ. Sorry fella's, if you got one used you got a good deal; if you paid new price, you got shafted.

I agree with him since the resale value on any Nissan hasn't been so good in the past few years for a lot of reasons. Nissan is not once a premium car in the past since they have a lot of quality build issues since they decided to build in Tennessee along side with the Altima. Too many platform sharing.
