Display Hidden Menu

Just traded in my 2013 Sport for a 2017.

FYI, the hidden diagnostic menu that was present on the Gen 7 (Car running, Radio OFF, hold down the settings button, turn the volume know until the menu show up.)

Is still present in the Gen 8.
Car Running
Radio Off
Hold down the "Home" button and turn the volume know until the diagnostic menu appears

This menu has diagnostic information, but also allows you to increase the volume for the bluetooth hands free. - The standard setting was terribly low on the my Gen.7

Now if I could just verify that that Navigation lockout could be bypassed by installing a switch on the same VSS speed wire as on my Gen 7.

Thanks for the video.

Yes that is the menu. Good to know about the ANC.

May main concern is the navigation lockout.... On the previous gen. I was able to hook up a switch to allow navigation while driving by simply installing an inline toggle in the VSS wire.

Would like to see information, on doing the same in Gen. 8

I now see all kinds of reference to this menu when looking into adding a sub... I was looking for the information, while looking for navigation and bluetooth. Guess I am late to the party.

Increase bluetooth hands-free volume

I know this is an old thread, but if 'dentnshell' still monitors the forum, where exactly in the Diagnostic Menu did you find the ability to increase the bluetooth hands free volume.

Mine ('19SL) is set ridiculously low, I entered the Diagnostic Menu today, and while I may have missed it, nothing related to Bluetooth jumped out at me.

I thought you have to adjust volume when you're on an active call? Which wouldn't work on diagnostic menu.

Hello - I am trying to access the hidden menu in my 2016. Your video won't open, because it says it's private. Can you repost it and make it public?
