Angry Too much driver seat overhang

Anyone else have a problem with driver seat overhang in 2017 Maxima SL?
I'm 5'4" and the edge of the seat sticks in to the back of my knees!

There is an adjustment to extend out the thigh support on the driver's seat. Maybe you have it in the extended position?

As warrusty said, be sure you have the extendable portion of the seat all the way in. You might also try moving the seat-back up more toward straight up in order to sort of position your body a tad further forward in the seat. I have also seen seat devices that lay onto the seat and against the seatback which may help you. My wife is 5'5", and she has not had this problem. You might try moving the entire seat backward a tad (but not so far you can't reach the accelerator or Brake pedal) so that your lower legs will not be sticking straight down against the seat front. Also have the driver seat as low as you can and still see over the hood, as this might enable you to have your feet hit the floor further in front of the seat.

6'2" here no problem for me. In fact I like to extend the seat bottom so it goes behind my knees.

I'm 5'8" and I do get a nerve pinched on the back of my right thigh, right above the knee. It's hard to find a position that doesn't make my foot tingle.

I tried to lift the seat higher and bring the seatback forward, and that seems to help a little, as the edge of the seat doesn't stick up that much. But then my big belly hits the steering wheel... ...

I'm 5'5" and I don't have a problem with the overhang, but I did have a problem with the gap between the seat and the thigh support extender. Even with the extender pushed all the way in, the gap was noticeable on the back of my legs. I adjusted the angle of the seat slightly, and this helped, but now I feel like I'm sitting up really high.

Just wondering if you solved the issue. Test driving a Maxima I had the same issue.

Didn’t do anything, just got used to it after about 3 months. I was going to take it to an upholstery shop and have them cut that out and make it shorter but now I don’t even notice it
