Had a nearly 1600 mile road trip to see grandkids last weekend. Trip out was very mild weather and had pretty good luck the mileage.
Sorry for the blurry pic! We were stopping for gas, and if you look closely, you can see that we gone 315.1 miles - and had 329 DTE. The cruise had been set at 73, A/C was on the whole time. I had occasional blasts up to 80 to get around slower traffic, and several sections of road construction where traffic slowed to 20 - 50, as well as getting off the interstate to find lunch (hence the 65 mph average). Two people, plus luggage, gifts and supplies. It took 8.8 gallons to fill, which calculates to 35.8 mpg.
Trip home was much hotter and quite windy - averaged 33 - 34. Also had a glitch with the cruise. Perfectly sunny, and the system beeped and indicated radar was unavailable and cruise was disabled. Turned off and back on, still no luck. Turned it off for about 10 miles, turned it back on and it was fine for the rest of the trip.
