Anybody change tires yet

I am about to change my tires and have been looking around for a new similar tire to what i have on Conti Pro contact's, One of my tires has a titty and the others are around 5-6/10 on the tread and i want all my tires to be even, looking the the Conti purecontact ecoplus. Has anybody changed theirs yet?

I got rid of the OE Contis at 700 miles. Tirerack's testing of your considered tires showed them to have the stiffest ride and most noise of the tires tested. I chose the Michelin Premier A/S.

I went with Michelin Pilot Super Sport. Not sure how many miles you do a year, but if you want to drive with some super awesome super sticky tires then I highly recommend these.

Drive about 25k, I saw the Contis weren't rated that high and was unsure of going back to Michelins. My experience with Michs was they wouldn't last as close to what they said they would but that was in my Honda speed balling days.

How do either of you like your Michelins?

I changed to the PILOT SPORT A/S 3+ about 2000 miles ago at 18K and have been very happy. I was disappointed with the performance in the rain with the stock good year tires. These tires are excellent in the rain and give me the confidence i was missing with the good year. They also have great dry performance, cornering and braking with minimal road noise and a 45k warranty. Only down side is the price. They cost me 950 out the door at Costco but for the safety and confidence they are worth every penny.

SR, I got my tires replaced from goodyear, at 6k miles due to loud noise amd un-even wear. These tires are very very loud on some road surface esp. Concreat.... rediculois. 245 40r 19 are stiff but I love it.
Please advice SR owners!

im also looking to change mine out. Probably have the worst set of 4 of anyone out there on my used 2016 S. firestone Indy 500 on rear and Venezia on front. I think my horrible ride is from these 4. Michelin from Costco or continental extreme from ntb I'm guessing.

The ride and road noise are decent, very happy with the way they are wearing.

Only gripe is that they are the brownest tires I've had, and for the first time in 40+ years of driving, I'm using a tire shine product.

It has taken some experimenting, but I've settled on a product that meets my needs pretty well.

I'm a huge fan of Continentals but bought a set of Cooper Cs5 for my last car and now my Maxima. Excellent ride and performance for an all seasonal. There were several rebates as well so that eased the decision

I am about to change my tires too. The brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S seems to have the best performance/brake in dry/wet roads, rim protector and new rubber compounds with the best grip over another tire brands.
I could choose between 245/40/19 or 255/40/19, with 1.2% of the diameter of the original tire, so there will be not problems with braking.

Any comments about these tires will be welcome

Does anyone have experience with 255/45/18? Bought some 18x8 rims and they're fine with the 245s, but I'd like to go 255 which is the widest tire for 8, but a little concerned about clearance.

Upgraded my platinum to 19 x 8.5 wheels and went with Pirelli P7 All-Season Plus in 245/40/19. Tire Rack has them very well rated, especially in ride quality, which was important to me because I didn't want to pay much (if any) penalty for moving to 19's. And I definitely didn't. In fact, these may ride better than the OE 18" Contis. First Pirellis I've ever had and so far I love them. Great blend of handling with a luxury ride, even though I actually don't think my local tire store balanced mine very well. At about 80 I start to feel a little vibration, though not in the steering wheel. Going to find another place with a road force balance machine.

I went with the Conti Pure Contact Eco Plus and have been very pleased with them for the last 7k miles. Solid wet/ice traction, very responsive, feel confident driving on these tires. Minimal road noise but on different types of roads you could possibly hear some noise. Overall solid tire better than the OEM Contis that came with the car.
