I have a 2017 Platinum, and have upgraded all interior/exterior lighting to matching LED. Only thing left is the high beams. Has anyone else upgraded their high beams to LED? Is it worth it? I have heard conflicting reports of the reflector geometry being optimized for Halogen, and LEDs not being as effective.

Has anyone done a before/after that can weigh in?

 

UPDATE: I installed some 8000lm LED High Beams last night. WHile the installation did require me to remove the bumper, it wasn't very difficult, and took about 1 hour in total. I don't have before and after pics, but I am very impressed with the throw of the LEDs. Took it driving in the rural roads leading up to Mt. Rainier National Park, and I was able to see well beyond my stopping distance, even at 70-80mph. Overall, I am happy with them, and time will tell how long these LEDs last (as they are $30 chinese ones from Amazon)
