Diode Dynamics H16 LED Fog Lights

I ordered the H16 XML2 LED's from Diode Dynamics but apparently they are the wrong bulbs. My OEM Halogen bulb says H16, but it has 3 prongs and twists in the housing. The LED from Diode has a clip in style base. Has anybody else had this issue? If so, what was the outcome?

I even called Diode before ordering to question whether or not the lights would fit my 2017 SR. The rep assured me there was no difference between the 16 & 17 and they just needed to update their website to include model year 17 for the bulbs.

Diode Dynamics has a great return policy, sorry they didnt fit but i would suggest calling the rep and returning then for the right ones, and if you can ask to send them a pic of what you are talking about to the rep's email so they can see what your talking about and they should replace them for free, i had great success with them and great quality as well.

***UPDATE***

Spoke with Phillip from Diode this morning, the JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) bulb is H16, but the USDM (United States Domestic Market) equivalent is an H11 bulb. If you order fog lights from Diode Dynamics, you have to order the H11 style bulb. Apparently the USDM H16 has a "clip in" style base and the JDM H16 has 3 prongs and is a "twist in" style base. So even if your car says replace with an H16 bulb (like mine did), if you order from Diode, you have to make sure to order the H11.

JDM H16 IS USDM H11 < this was copied straight from the email Diode sent this morning.

Hope this helps.

i thought it is h16 because it only has 19 watts (oem).
i am not sure yet, though, if the polarity is the difference.
