Good evening all, I bought a 2017 Maxima SV last weekend after trading in my 2017 Rogue SL. I noticed that the Maxima doesn't have the same side view mirror tilting feature that the Rogue had. I assume it isn't offered on the SV trim level. Is there any way to add this feature on to the car? Be it a dealer installation or an aftermarket installation.

What do you mean by "tilting feature"? Surely all Max models have adjustable outside mirrors, right guys? Do you mean "folding" mirrors?

 

I apologize, I should've been more clear. I meant the mirrors tilting when the car is put in reverse. Helps with parallel parking so that you don't curb your rims.

 

Ok, I see. As far as I know I don't think my Max SL has this feature. I find I do not need this feature because I use the backup camera pretty effectively for backing, except at night with no streetlights, which is the pits.

 

You get this feature on the Platinum only. There are a lot of other luxury features that are restricted to the Platinum only.
