LED DRL Lights flickering, thoughts?

So after getting my car back from the shop (3200$ for front end repair when dad hit a deep pot hole) I finally drive it at night and notice that the led drl lights are flickering. Attached is a video link to the problem. Any ideas ? Loose wiring or something worse ?

Finally made an account just to reply. I'm 99% sure that would be your voltage regulator. I had the same problem with my '13 Hyundai Veloster.

Thanks for your reply. When you say voltage regulator is it for the LED DRL units? or for the whole vehicle? I am trying to track this intermittent irritation down still. When I went to the dealer they were working fine and they told me to wait and come back. Main problem is I mostly drive to work and back during the day so who knows exactly how much they have been flickering.

Seems our system is a little more complex than I previously thought. I am going to go back and see what the dealer thinks again.

My father borrowed my car for a road trip and when it came back he said he hit a really big pothole. They ended up replacing; the front underside plastics, whole new front bumper, radiator supports, lower radiator hoses and, some lines for the windshield wiper fluid. radiator had to come out for the supports to be swapped.

Is it possible that when they repaired it, it wasn't put together properly or that it is cracked and some water got into the housing? LEDs shouldnt flicker unless there is a short, or intermittent connection (or a voltage regulator like someone else said, but I would assume they would just use 12v LEDs)

Worst part is they repainted the front bumper several times and were still unable to perfectly match to color. I have the white pearl and now the front bumper is slightly darker and the pearls appear to be shifted 30 degrees so they light up at a slightly different time. I am going to take it back to them and see if they will check the headlights otherwise ill go bug the dealer and see what they can do if anything.

Did you ever figure out the problem with this issue? I am having the same thing happen to my LED daytime running lights.

I saw flicker only on the left side. Seems to be a "grounding" problem with that DRL. Take it back to the shop, as that "deep pot hole" may have knocked something haywire. The shop should at least troubleshoot that for you. Good luck.
