Relocating the front plate

Has any one tried to relocate the front plate? I'd love to run with it off but the law requires it. Any ideas/pictures would be appreciated.

See post #9 and post #11 (picture) under a search of this site titled "Front Plate Bracket...Do I have to drill holes?"

In short, I mounted the front plate under the front grill and secured it at the top with nylon ties.
