Source of steering wheel creak explained!

Hey guys. Don't just let the dealer replace your clock spring or steering wheel... They are just throwing parts at your car hoping it solves the problem because in many cases, they aren't trained well enough to figure it out for themselves.

This is where the steering wheel creaking comes from.

Thanks, I got that creak from time to time, but it doesn't bother me too much.

The one that's irritating me now is the buzzing coming from somewhere in the dash (at certain speeds)

I have never heard that sound in my car, and I sure don't bend on the steering wheel like that when I drive.

lol me ether but I have this same sound when I move my hand on the wheel when driving. Kinda annoying If the car is quiet and you’re OCD like me

I think the more I read about the various squeaks and rattles, the more I start to notice them. I probably should just learn to ignore it.

Maybe Nissan made the interior too darn quiet... if there was a little more road noise these little annoyances wouldn't stand out so much
