Easy Exhaust Mods

Hi folks. Looking for a thread or recommendations on somewhat easy and in-expensive mods to my SR to get a deeper exhaust sound. The stock one imo is too flat.

thanks

The quickest and cheapest thing I can think of is to remove the resonator, or remove the mufflers

El Cheapo Exhaust Mod

How many here remember taking a 10 penny nail to your muffler/s until you got the sound you wanted? Back then we were too cheap to buy "glass packs" and cat-backs hadn't been invented yet, (because cats hadn't been invented yet), so we tuned our exhaust with hammer and nail. Man, you can get just the tune you need. :-)

The easiest way to get better sound from this car is to remove the resonator and put a shorter one in there. If you look under your car you can see the resonator in the middle and it is the biggest one I have ever seen. Chop that off and put a 14" one in there.
