Rain-x fluid not working as well?

Anyone else use the Rain-X washer fluid and think it doesn't work too well on the Maxima?
I use it in my 09 altima and the droplets roll off fairly quickly, but in my 16 maxima it seems like it takes a lot more time for the droplets to roll away, even at 40mph. Both of my cars use Rain-x Latitudes too.

Maybe cause of the lower angle windshield in the Max?
I would've expected the droplets to roll off easier due to less resistance...

Any thoughts?

The Rain-X website lists this disclaimer:

Rain-X™ does not work as well with 2016 and 2017 Nissan Maximas. Why? We don't know. Our chemists are working on it.

that's funny, cause I used the Aquapel on mine and it didn't seem to work too well either (and I've used it for years on my previous Altima)...

I use McGuire's Detailer on all my car windows, incl. the '17 Max. and rain rolls off just as good as Rain-X ever did.

Interesting... do you remember where you found that info? I tried googling it, but can't seem to find it

wow, that's crazy, never had that issue, but why Rain-x made a disclaimer on the 8gen. I looked it up and never found anything about it

I'm sorry, I should have been more clear. I found the Rain-X information on their Kazakhstan website.

Rain-X is sold in 47 foreign countries, and disclaimer laws are different in each country. The MDS shows this information.

I hope this helps.

If you put a coat of any good car wax on the windshield it works as good if not better than Rain-X.

To many stories about people using Rain-X in their washer tank and it messing up the sensors. Just no valid reason to buy it.
