I was wondering if I could add a turbo to my 2016 maxima? How much will it cost? also how much of a performance gain would I see?

Yes it can be done. Look up Ghozt on the 7th Gen site as he did it to his 2009 with some remarkable re-engineering and dedicated persistence.

 

Oohh okay cool I'll def look into that. Do you know of how much it might cost? Also I heard something about Supercharging for V6 engines. Any insight to the difference between turbo and supercharging?

 

Richard66, you forgot to mention the part where he fubar'd his transmission and ultimately put in a standard transmission to handle the power.

That project had to cost 15k minimum...

Dude, you're going to void every inch of your power train warrantee. I'd wait until at least 60-70k miles before turning this, "already decent sports feel of a sedan" into a monster. It should give you a lot of time to research and learn how much of a waste of money it really is and maybe change your mind down the road.
