Post Alexa

Just read an article that said that Alexa was getting a Nissan skill that would let users do things like start their car, turn on lights, unlock & lock the car. It would work on Maxims dated back to 2016.

While starting the car in the morning with the remote isn't difficult, it might be handy just to tell Alexa to do it.

This seems like a cool little thing to have if you already have Alexa. Idk that I’d buy it just to control my car. I installed a compustar system in my car with a drone. I can control my car from anywhere with the drone app on my phone. And my remote has an lcd screen and has a few miles range(I forget how many exactly). I rather invest in something like that than Alexa. But if u have alexa already def a cool feature.

An update to the NCS app was released last night. Now Alexa works as well - you just need to link the Skill in the Alexa app on your phone.

Unfortunately this will only work on the Platinum trim.

app and Alexa are now linked but requests a 4 digit PIN?.

I was never prompted to set up a PIN. Anyone else figure that out?
