What are the characteristics of the Premium Paint of the Pearl White? Why it is $400 more expensive? Is the paint better quality or resistant to acids or dirt? Thanks

 

Without knowing for certain with this car, Pearl paint normally means there's plastic fleck in the clear coat. That's what gives it the ghostly shimmer. It takes a quality mix, and a steady application. Its one of the more difficult paints to match if you ever have to have a panel repaired...because the body shop painter has to mimic the quantity in the mix, and apply it in a way that matches the factory. Or you just end up having to paint a whole side for a single panel.

 

Thanks, yesterday I read the thread related to the issues with the White color on the Maxima, I hope it is a one off situation and I will not go through the same thing with my just purchase white Maxima.
