Has anyone on this forum installed the wireless phone charging for our 8th gen maxima yet? Any input or opinions on it?

On 2018 models, it is a dealer installed accessory but apparently works with several models and years. Nissan's placement inside the already undersized center console doesn't seem particularly practical or convenient compared to charging via USB since its clearly an afterthought to offer it. Most vehicles with wireless charging have it well integrated as a pad on the console. Depending on the length of the wiring harness, perhaps you can mount it somewhere better like under the fuse box or on the tranny tunnel.
