I have my iPhone 8 Plus connected via Bluetooth to my new 2017 Nissan Maxima S, while driving I will get randomly disconnect and almost immediately reconnect messages in the main display (touch screen), this doesn’t sound normal to me, I've used the same phone with many other Bluetooth systems on multiple other cars without any problem, not even a single disconnect, any existing experience with other Maximas? Thanks

 

Try other iPhone 8. If it's acting the same get your car to the dealer. Maybe BT module is faulty

 

I tried with different phones and the same problem happens. If I try with the same phones on my 2017 Accord Hybrid or 2015 Pilot nothing happens, the Bluetooth connection is reliable and stable. To me is not a problem with the phone because it works fine on 2 other cars, and I have tried with multiple phones on the Maxima as well, that means, at least to me, it is a problem with the Bluetooth module in the Maxima.

 

I have a 2017 Platinum and mine is doing the same but only when I have my Air Pods out of the case and not in my ear. With the Air Pods in the case, that is not active, I don’t have the issue. So it seems like the Maxima BT gets confused or interrupted when a second BT unit is active. Maybe.
