Hello, guys whoever owns Platinum and SR models. Do you happened to know which color low beam LEDs are installed on your cars? 5000K or 6000K? Can anybody take a picture from the side to compare?

 

I don't think anyone knows for sure. I have to guess 5000k myself.

 

These photos shows 6000Ks low beams installed.

 

Stock is likely 4300, but that's a pure guess.

 

Definitely not 4300k. Our 2015 Impala that we traded in for the Maxima came with factory 4300k hid's. These led's on the Maxima are way more white in color temp brighter as well. Those hid's completely sucked on the Impala.

 

Does it really make a difference?

 

The factory led headlights on the Maxima are stunning. Some of the best lighting I have ever seen on a car. I cant say enough about them. If Nissan had only made the fog lights led it would be a 10/10 setup.

So, they are bluish comparing to DRLs?

 

Yasssss!! Majority of factory led headlight are rated at 6k, and DRL are rated at 5k.

 

Good, that’s what I needed to know. Because I have had difficulty finding 5000K low beams to match it. And when I installed 6000K I thought maybe I should have had installed 5000k but as it turns out even factory installs 6000k. Thanks.
